Installation
Welcome to AMS and thank you for signing up!
We will guide you through the process on how to setup your charts
for the 1st time. Please carefully read the instruction below.
To download the AMS installer (and the NinjaTrader 8 installer if you do not have it yet) please go here: https://amstradinggroup.com/ams/softsale/license
Choose the latest version and it will prompt a Download button as well as a Download button for NinjaTrader 8.
First install NinjaTrader 8 if you do not have it installed already.
After you have installed both NinjaTrader 8 and the AMS DeltaPrint installer you may startup NinjaTrader 8. (64-bit version)
When you have opened up NinjaTrader 8, you can enter your license key by opening up the Tools menu and select the AMS License Manager at the bottom.
The software will not work correctly until you have restarted NinjaTrader 8.

Fill out your license key and press Activate.
After successful activation you need to restart NT8.
Recommended: 64-bit version.
Connection your data feed
You can use our software with every data feed that connects with NinjaTrader. For example DTN IQFeed, Rithmic or Kinetick.
If you do not have a data feed running yet we can recommend getting a free demo from Rithmic.
Rithmic has advantages over the other ones because Rithmic is the only one providing unlimited depth, where the other ones only provide 10 levels of the order book.

Workspaces
The Workspaces are the easiest way to get started.
By default it will open up three main charts already after installation automatically.
A Footprint chart, BookFlow and MarketProfile chart.
You can however create your own if you prefer.
Menu > Workspaces
Create your own chart with the Templates:
- New > Chart, in the NinjaTrader 8 menu.
- This will open a new window where you can select the instrument and template.
- First select the instrument you want to use and then select at the top right dropdown select the template file you want to use that is installed automatically.
Depending on the type of template file you also want to set the right type of periodicity.
Initially it will be on a 1 minute chart.
For Footprint charts use we always recommend using the AMS RevBars periodicity.
ES:
Normal 6-8 tick Reversal
Higher . 10-12 tick Reversal
Extreme . 18-24 tick Reversal
NQ:
Normal: 10-12 tick Reversal
Higher: 14-16 tick Reversal
Extreme . 24-32 tick Reversal
The “best” option will depend on volatility and personal preference.
